MLA Workshop - Live Stream Online
Get an introduction to MLA Style, and/or bring your questions for this quick workshop! We'll have a short introduction but then the rest is up to you. Get help writing a citation, have a librarian check it, or ask whatever citation questions are on your mind (including how to avoid plagiarism!).
We will be meeting virtually using WebEx. Please sign up for the event using your Lone Star address in order to receive the link for the workshop (be sure to check your spam filter if you don't see an email within 5 minutes). You will receive a reminder 1 hour before the workshop is scheduled to start. If you can't make it, just hit the "cancel" link in there!

WebEx: What You Need to Know
- You can attend via your browser. You may be prompted to install a small plugin for WebEx to work.
- You may also use an app. Google Play (Android) | Apple App Store (iOS)
- Please mute your microphone as you enter the webinar. We will mute people as they sign in, as well.
- You do not need to enable your video (i.e. you don't need to have your camera on).
- To ask questions, you can type into the meeting chat. The librarian will unmute microphones to allow for discussion and questions after a short introduction.
WebEx has a number of tutorial videos on YouTube if you'd like to learn more. OTS does support WebEx, so if you're running into technical trouble, reach out to them!
