E-Books: Find & Use in Your Classes

Audience: Faculty
This session will introduce the library ebook collections, focused on EBSCO Ebook Collection and ProQuest Ebook Central. It will cover how to access and search each, identify the license applied to the book, and how to link or embed content in D2L.
LOs:
1. Participants will be able to navigate to, access, search, and link e-books from the databases.
2. Participants will be able to identify how many licenses an ebook has available.
3. Participants will be able to download/save excerpts of e-books to host in the classroom.
